Pineapple Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch pan with cooking spray.
In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, baking soda, crushed pineapple and eggs; mix well. Pour batter into prepared baking pan.
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove cake from oven and cool completely on a rack.
To make the frosting, combine all frosting ingredients and beat until smooth. Frost onto cooled cake.
