Nutty Mocha Brownies
Decadent, moist and scrumptious brownies flavored with chocolate and coffee. Nuts add flavor and crunch. These bars make perfect ending to any meal or a delicious snack. Very easy to make and can be prepared in under an hour! Here is an easy dessert recipe for Mocha Brownies.
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate squares
3/4 cup sugar
6 tbs. butter, melted
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tbs. cocoa powder
2 beaten eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tbs. instant coffee
1/4 cup chopped peanuts, walnuts, almonds of any nuts of your choice
Heat oven to 350 F. Lightly grease a an 8×8 baking pan.
Sift flour, cocoa, sugar, salt baking soda together in a bowl; set aside.
Melt the chocolate in the microwave (depending on wattage of your unit, could take 30-45 seconds). Add the butter and mix until smooth and well incorporated. Cool for a bit before beating in the eggs and vanilla.
Add the flour mixture into the chocolate mixture and stir well. Fold in your nuts of choice. Pour batter into prepared baking pan.
Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool in pan for 15 minutes then transfer into a wire rack. Cut into squares before serving. Store Nutty Mocha Brownies in an air-tight container.
